Standard size or made-to-measure: how to choose?

Our standard sizes fit most ordinary windows and install quickly. If your window matches one of our available dimensions, it is a simple, fast solution. If your window has non-standard dimensions, made-to-measure is the way to go: a curtain that is too narrow leaves gaps that reduce acoustic performance, let air seep in at the sides, and create light halos despite a 100% blackout fabric, even under optimal installation conditions. Made-to-measure eliminates all these problems by covering your opening exactly, with a recommended side overhang of 15 to 20 cm.

How do you measure your windows to order a made-to-measure curtain?

Measure the width and height of your window in centimetres. For optimal performance, add 15 to 20 cm on each side for lateral overlap and plan for a ceiling-to-floor height. If in doubt, our recommended dimensions are shown in the configurator.

Which made-to-measure curtain should you choose for a bedroom?

For a bedroom, the made-to-measure blackout thermal and acoustic curtain is a very complete solution: total darkness for sleep, thermal insulation for nighttime comfort and reduced street noise. If you only have a single need, our specialised collections are available separately.

What are the delivery times for a made-to-measure curtain?

Each curtain is made to order. Production and order preparation take 5 to 7 days. Delivery then takes 5 to 10 days.

Is a made-to-measure curtain really more effective than a standard curtain?

Yes, on every performance. A standard acoustic curtain loses some of its noise reduction because of lateral gaps. A poorly sized standard blackout curtain leaves light halos despite a 100% blackout fabric. Made-to-measure eliminates these losses in effectiveness by covering your opening exactly.
