Cloth, hang and blackout are what I wanted. Street noise is better. Only mark: eighteen days to arrive. They warn you. I still wish I had ordered before the heatwave.

Enjoy the pleasure of quiet at home.
Traffic, voices under the windows, a busy street: the Maison Curtains soundproof curtain helps take the edge off outdoor noise coming through a covered opening. Comfort and a proper curtain in one panel.
Up to 22 dB attenuation in optimal install and test conditions. What you hear at home still depends on the noise, how fully the opening is covered, and the hang.
Up to 13°F difference
Dress your window with a three-layer technical curtain that helps with both cold and heat. Up to 13°F thermal gain measured in the laboratory.
The result in your room still depends on the glazing, the exposure and the hang.

Why I bought it
I hung these and I would buy them again tonight. Two curtains, 250 x 230, grommets, one on each side. Dark, quiet, warm. That is the whole review.
Street noise used to sit in the room until midnight. Drawn, the sharp voices leave the glass. We sleep. That was the first night.
East light at 5am used to wreck us. Closed with the extra width they recommend, the bedroom is properly dark. Naps, late shifts, done. In winter the pane felt like a cold wall. Overnight the room holds. 620 g/m²: you feel it in the hang. This is not a fashion drape.
Exact-Fit on the drop. Two panels, three jobs, finished. If you are still reading: measure, take the fullness they tell you, and order. I have not thought about this window since.
Maison Curtains
Thank you, Amélie. Two 250 x 230 panels with grommets: that is exactly how the 3-in-1 is meant to sit, one on each side, for the street, the sunrise, and the cold pane.
Exact-Fit is there if a drop is ever off. Thrilled this room finally works.
Street noise
We live on a busy street. I was tired of stacking a blackout lining and a “noise” curtain that never hung as one. One made-to-measure panel. Voices from the pavement drop enough that we sleep with the window cracked. Not a studio. The sharp edge is gone. That was the purchase.
Blackout
East-facing bedroom. Summer sunrise at 5am was wrecking us. These close to a proper dark. No halo at the edges if you order the width they tell you to. I measured twice, used Exact-Fit, and the drop is exact. That is why I bought made-to-measure, not a ready-made.
Thermal
Old shutters, radiator under the glass. Winter mornings the window was a cold wall. Drawn overnight, the room holds. The cloth is heavy. That 620 g/m² is not a fashion drape. I paid for density, and you feel it in the hang.
Made to measure
Cloth, hang and blackout are what I wanted. Street noise is better. Only mark: eighteen days to arrive. They warn you. I still wish I had ordered before the heatwave. Would buy again for the other windows.
One curtain, three jobs
I was about to buy three separate curtains. This is the 3-in-1 brief: dark, warmer, quieter. It does all three well enough that I did not layer anything. Korean pleat on our track, full folds. Looks finished, not like a compromise.
Street noise
Tram line. I did not expect silence. I expected the sharp bit of the noise to go. That is what happened. Conversations downstairs are muffled; the rumble is still there. Honest product, not a miracle wall.
Blackout
Baby’s room. We needed dark for naps and a bit of hush from the courtyard. Both. The heading guide was useful. We took Korean Pleat. Hang is deep and even. This is the reason I did not go to a high-street chain.
Thermal
Victorian sash, rattly. These do not fix the frame, they stop the draught feeling at night. Combined with blackout for shift work. One purchase, two jobs done. That was the calculation.
Made to measure
I always bought ready-made and hemmed. This time made-to-measure. Width at 2.2× the window as they recommend. Full folds, no skinny look. That is the difference you see from the street, and why I stopped fighting catalogue sizes.
Street noise
Open-plan onto a square. Evening noise was the reason. Closed, the room drops a notch. TV at a normal volume again. Thick, proper curtain. Worth it versus cheap linings that sag after a season.
Made to measure
Not cheap. I compared with buying blackout plus thermal separately. Still came out ahead, and it hangs as one. Delivery was the wait. Cloth is dense, colour matches the sample I ordered first.

Your questions.
Does it actually work against noise?
Traffic, conversations under the windows, a busy street: the Maison Curtains soundproof curtain helps cut the outdoor noise that comes through the covered opening. Comfort and a proper curtain in one panel. Up to 22 dB attenuation in optimal install and test conditions. What you hear at home still depends on the noise, how fully the opening is covered, and the hang.
Is it really 100% blackout?
Yes. The three-layer 620 g/m² cloth blocks 100% of visible light and UV. For a complete black with no leak at the sides, made-to-measure lets you cover the whole window.
Does it actually keep the heat in?
The 3-in-1 curtain is a dense 620 g/m² three-layer panel. It cuts draughts at the window and helps keep indoor heat in — it is not a substitute for wall insulation. Coverage and hang matter as much as the cloth.
Does it block bass, trucks, upstairs neighbours?
No, and no textile does. Bass frequencies and vibration (a subwoofer, engines, impact noise) travel through the building: only the mass of a wall stops them. The curtain works on airborne mid-to-high noise, not on vibration.
Will my pole hold this curtain?
The curtain is dense (620 g/m²): a panel weighs several kilos depending on size. Use a stout pole or a track fixed into a load-bearing support. Tension poles will not hold the weight over time.
I'm worried I'll get the measurements wrong.
Our 3-step measuring guide helps you pick a catalogue size or enter your own. The Maison Curtains Exact-Fit Guarantee ($65.00) covers a free remake if you ordered made-to-measure.
Will it work with my pole?
Three headings: Grommet, Korean Pleat and Hook. See our heading guide to match your pole.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery takes 6 to 11 business days, Monday to Friday. You get an email at each step, with tracking as soon as it leaves.
How do I wash it?
Machine wash at 86°F, delicate cycle. No tumble dryer. Iron on low, reverse side. Performance holds after washing.
Can I return it?
30-day returns. Manufacturing defects can be returned or exchanged free of charge. Made-to-measure cannot be returned for change of mind — that is what the Exact-Fit Guarantee is for.
Description
Sage brings a soft, natural light while still covering fully. The colour sits in most interiors, from spare Scandinavian rooms to a quieter classic.
Three jobs in one curtain, made to measure or catalogue size
The sage Sérénité curtain is a blackout, thermal and soundproof panel in catalogue sizes or made to measure. Three problems at once: noise, cold and light. The 3-layer make-up at 620 g/m² is measured performance most curtains do not claim.
Sage: which rooms?
A light colour opens small rooms. It suits bedrooms, bright sitting rooms, and north-facing rooms that lack daylight.
A curtain cut to your sizes
Each sage Sérénité panel is made in our workshop to the sizes you send. Width and drop as needed. A 3-metre patio door, a standard French door or a bedroom window: the curtain follows the opening. Full cover at the sides, a clean hang, and a finish catalogue sizes cannot match.
How it sits in a room
Sage sits with white, light grey, beige or pastel walls. Natural wood, rattan or white metal keeps the room calm.
