Size guides

Everything to know before you order

Measurements, headings, colours. Our guides walk you through choosing your Maison Curtains curtain, in a catalogue size or made-to-measure, with complete confidence.

Before you begin.

You will need a tape measure (or a soft measuring tape) and something to write with. Allow 5 minutes per window. If you have several identical windows, one measurement is enough.

1. Measure the width of your pole

Run your tape from one end of the pole to the other — not the window, not the wall: the pole itself. Note this measurement in centimetres.

For the best result, multiply your sizes by 1.5 to 2. That creates the fullness that improves the curtain’s performance.

2. Measure the drop

Measure from the pole ring (or from the hook, depending on your heading) down to the floor. This is the drop of your curtain.

3. Use your sizes to order

Compare your sizes with our catalogue sizes, or enter them on the product page for a made-to-measure curtain. The price is calculated at once.
